7. PRODUCT SAFETY WARNINGS AND LIABILITY
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE — PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
The products sold by The Cutting Edge of Diamond Blades, Inc. include diamond blades, grinding wheels, cup wheels, cutting tools, polishing equipment, and related industrial supplies. These are professional-grade tools capable of causing serious injury or death if misused, improperly operated, or used without appropriate safety precautions. By purchasing and using these products, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
• SHARP TOOLS WARNING: Diamond blades, cutting wheels, and grinding tools have extremely sharp edges and operate at high rotational speeds. Always maintain a safe distance from rotating blades and cutting surfaces. Never place hands, clothing, or any body part near a moving blade or wheel.
• PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE): Always wear appropriate safety gear when operating cutting, grinding, or polishing equipment. Required PPE includes, but is not limited to: safety glasses or face shield, hearing protection, heavy-duty work gloves, steel-toed boots, and appropriate protective clothing. Do not operate any equipment without proper PPE.
• RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: Cutting, grinding, and polishing stone, concrete, or masonry generates dust, including silica dust, which is a known respiratory hazard and may cause serious lung disease, including silicosis. Always wear an appropriate NIOSHapproved respirator or dust mask rated for silica dust when operating any cutting, grinding, or polishing equipment. Ensure adequate ventilation in all work areas.
• ADULT SUPERVISION: These products are intended for use by adults or by minors only under the direct, active supervision of a qualified and responsible adult. Children should never handle, operate, or be in proximity to power tools or cutting equipment unattended.
• CHEMICAL AND HAZARDOUS MATERIALS: Epoxies, sealers, glues, silicones, and other chemical products must be stored, handled, and used in strict accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Follow all label directions regarding ventilation, temperature, skin contact, and disposal.
• PROPER TOOL USE: Always use the correct tool for the intended application. Never exceed the rated speed (RPM) of any blade or wheel. Inspect all tools for damage before each use. Do not use damaged, cracked, or otherwise compromised blades or wheels. Follow all manufacturer operating instructions.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE COMPANY IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR INJURIES, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR OTHER LOSSES ARISING FROM THE IMPROPER USE, MISUSE, OR FAILURE TO FOLLOW SAFETY PRECAUTIONS OR MANUFACTURER INSTRUCTIONS WHEN USING OUR PRODUCTS.
